Ask Hunt Orthodontics: Is Invisalign® really customized for each patient?

Yes, it is, and that’s part of what makes it work, say Drs. Hunt. To find out if you are the right candidate for Invisalign treatment, the first thing Drs. Hunt and their team do is to take an impression of your teeth as they are now and digitize it. Using special software, we look at the current positioning of your teeth and compare it to the way your teeth should look.

Next we use special software to map out the exact path your teeth will take from the beginning of your treatment to the end. Based on the results, a set of custom aligners are created just for your teeth. Throughout the course of treatment, you will be required to wear these clear, removable aligners one at a time; each one moving your teeth closer and closer to their final, perfectly aligned position. And since the aligners are virtually invisible, nobody around you will even know you are wearing braces!

Dr. Hunt Jr. is a certified Invisalign provider. If you have questions about Invisalign, or would like to find out if you are a candidate for Invisalign treatment, give us a call.

Happy New Year from the entire team at Hunt Orthodontics!

Why Choose Hunt Orthodontics?

Our office's number-one priority is to exceed your expectations in our quality of care and service! For the patient, this means a convenient appointment schedule, flexible payment plans, and a friendly, knowledgeable staff with years of orthodontic experience.

Our office uses digital radiography and imaging. For the patient, this means a reduction in exposure to radiation. This digital system does not use processing chemicals so it is also environmentally friendly. Digital imaging allows Drs. Hunt to analyze radiographs and photos with software tools designed to give the doctor accurate information in determining a patient's treatment options.

Our office utilizes the newest technology in low force and low friction braces. For the patient, this can mean shorter treatment time and less discomfort experienced during your care. Hunt Orthodontics strives to give you cutting edge orthodontic treatment options.

Drs. Hunt develop an individualized treatment plan based upon your specific orthodontic needs. For the patient, this means not only addressing your orthodontic concerns, but also formulating and educating you on our specific goals in developing your unique smile.

Since 1969, numerous Greenville-area dentists, physicians, and other health care professionals have chosen Hunt Orthodontics for the treatment of themselves, their families, friends, and their staff members. We are truly honored by the trust that these individuals have placed in our office for their orthodontic care.
